As one of the UK's largest independent foam converters, we are proud to offer an extremely high level of quality and service to all of our customers.
With over 30 years experience, and a commitment to development and improvement within all areas of our business, our achievements speak for themselves.
From a small unit with 4 staff, we have grown to become a multi-million pound organisation with over 100 employees. Yet our feet are firmly 'on the ground' and we are still a very private company, keenly aware of our customer's needs and always striving to improve our levels of service.
Our customer's success has been the backbone of Drury Adams' continued growth since its inception in 1979.
Whether you are a small manufacturer producing a handful of suites per week, or a large organisation processing many thousand units per day, we can provide a consistent level of quality and service, virtually unrivalled within the industry.

Cabinet Maker (Apr 2009)
It may not be the traditional “golden” anniversary, but as foam converter and fibre supplier Drury Adams celebrates it’s 30th year of business, the company looks set to go from strength to strength thanks to the success of its Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) Gold Award winning Duratech cushion.
Duratech, which contains fibres made from 100% recycled polyester bottles, is the product of an innovative partnership between Drury Adams and Wellman International, Europe’s largest producer of polyester staple fibre. It is the first and currently the only seat cushion to achieve a FIRA Gold Award. Stuart Adams from Drury Adams received the prestigious accolade on behalf of both companies at a special award ceremony at the House of Lords.
Stuart said: “It has been a real honour to receive the recognition of FIRA and to be involved in the development of such an innovative product as the Duratech seat cushion. “The customer feedback that we have received so far has been extremely positive and to celebrate such an important milestone as our 30th anniversary so soon after being awarded the FIRA Gold Award for the Duratech product is fantastic.”
Following more than two years extensive research, development and value engineering, the unique Duratech cushion has been created using three-dimensional polyester spiral fibres that unlike conventional saw-tooth formations offer unrivalled flexibility and movement, the company said. The cushion has undergone exhaustive testing by FIRA and after recreating the effect of five years use by a fifteen stone person, was found to give 95% loft retention and offer exceptional resilience and comfort.
Drury Adams said that as well as being the only cushion on the market to currently hold the FIRA Gold Award accreditation, the fibres used within the Duratech cushion are made from a polymer manufactured 100% from recycled polyester bottles, and owing to the advanced composition of the materials used, the new cushion requires less filling.

Drury Adams employ over 100 full time staff.
Our staff are committed and loyal towards the company with an average length of service within our factory management exceeding 20 years.

Our drivers are highly qualified, undergo continual training and are hand picked so as to represent the company in a professional manner.
Throughout the industry, our customer service record is second to none, a fact that can be largely attributed to our close-knit work force who are always willing to meet deadlines and prepared to give that little bit extra.
